Everybody's crazy for gayface Adam Lambert. He's certainly got a beautiful voice, and a kind of emo-twink-jock appeal that makes me a bit weak. Delicious! I don't watch Idol, but I think I'd probably like to hear more of Lambert's voice in my future. So if you do watch, give the gay a vote!
P.S.: He's not openly gay, but he might as well be. "Sports, not so much" in above clip. Or this series of clips to demonstrate it.
Ok, so I confess...American Idol this season is one of my guilty pleasures...and largely due to Miss Lambert! *lol*
You're right that he does have a great voice....and more stage presence than all the other finalists combined...and it doesn't hurt my opinion of him that he had a career as part of the cast of Wicked before joining Idol (I'm a HUUUUUGE fan of the green girl!!).
I also love that he's such a genderfuck---although somewhat reigned in on the show (for probably very obvious, and offensive, reasons).
I'm pretty sure he is relatively openly gay, thought....I read online a quote (although I don't vouch for its authenticity) after the pictures of him making out with guys surfaced where he was asked if he had a response to the photos and he said something to the effect of "It is what it is. I'm not hiding anything." Also, the week he sang "Tracks of My Tears" was very subdued both in performance and look, judge Randy Jackson made a comment about it being nice to see him "play it straight" (although I don't think it was a reference specifically to being queer), and the camera cut for a split second to Adam's face and he started laugh at the word "straight".....
....ah he's so queer...so sissy...so genderfuck....I'm totally infatuated!! (And Bill O'Reilly is even talking pseudo-smack about him on the air...and anyone who can perturb O'Reilly deserves points in my book! LOL)
