I'm preparing for my presentation tomorrow on my research this summer in San Francisco on bottom identity among HIV-negative men there, and as I was looking for images while putting together my Powerpoint slides, I stumbled on this interesting photo set from Flickr user iieeef.
Obviously, I'm interested in the way that top/bottom categories are culturally gendered (while recognizing the variations in this "on the ground"), and this photo set surely evidences that...
This is wonderful! I've been following Lady B's tweets this week about the conference talks. I'm really interested in your "bottom identity" research. Off to read the notes from your presentation now.
I sometimes feel like a freak admitting that I only like to be a bottom, and that being asked to top (my partner's been asking a lot lately) makes me go into little spasms. And not the good kind. I've been looking for some support on this, and I'm so happy to find other people talking about it, too.
cheers from Philly,

Twitter is amazing! I'm glad you could follow in while in Philly! Yes I think it's a topic many gay men are super-eager to talk about openly, honestly, and frankly about.
